NFL Street is a series of sports video games developed by EA Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts. Currently there are three games in the series, NFL Street and NFL Street 2, both released in 2004, and NFL Street 3 was released on November 15th, 2006. The NFL Street series is made in the same vein as NBA Street and other franchises such as NFL Blitz. Similar to Blitz, Street is seven-on-seven American football. NFL Players in the game wear street clothing instead of helmets and uniforms but the players can also wear jerseys.

NFL Street was released for GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox on January 14, 2004. It featured Justin Bua's rendering of Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams on the cover. Bua is also featured in the opening sequence of the game.

Like every other American football game, NFL Street has the basic rules, but as with NFL Blitz this game has no fouls and low penalty gameplay. Naturally, this leads to a much more violent game than its real-life model. However, to maintain the "IronMan" status, there are no injuries in any game.

Own The City Mode

This game mode is the newest mode of NFL Street 2, the player must create a character and win all of the street games in the city. The player must play pick-up games to recruit talent for a team. The pick-up games are made up of randomly generated players. As the game progresses, the player will need to find better talent. If the player is successful they will face Xzibit and his team of NFL stars. When the player completes Own The City mode, the created player can be imported to Madden NFL 2006, another successful football title, or can be imported to the NFL Challenge.

NFL Challenge

NFL Challenge is the official mode of the NFL Street series. The player must build up a team in 150 days to face the NFL Stars by completing challenges, such as scoring 250,000 style points on the Philadelphia Eagles. Winning the challenges gives the player development points to spend on the players but also at the expense of days. When 5 days remain, a tournament opens up and the player's team must win the tournament to complete NFL Challenge. If the player advances into the final round, they face the NFL Legends, a team of NFL stars from the 1970s and 1980s.

Gamebreaker 2s

One of the new features in NFL Street 2 is the addition of Gamebreaker 2. The player must first acquire many style points to unlock a gamebreaker and then without using it, acquire the same amount of style points again. When called at the line of scrimmage, A cutscene occurs in which on defense, the defense stylishly gets the ball back while on offense, the offense stylishly gets over the line of scrimmage. After the cutscene, the player enters a "God Mode" in which he has unlimited turbo and will break 95% of his tackles.

Game modes

  • Bank: A competition to earn the most style points.
  • Play Elimination: The team begins the match with a specific amount of plays in the playbook, if the selected play does not gain any yards or results in negative yards the play is eliminated. This goes on until there are no plays left. You win by eliminating all of your opponent's plays and scoring a touchdown
  • Pick-Up Game: Fill Up a Team with the NFL’s best stars. Schoolyard picks, either 40 random players, or all of them.
  • Time Attack: A Mode where the player must score within the time limit of possession, if the player scores any remaining time will be added to the score.
  • Yards for Points: Every yard you gain is a point. Every yard on a run play is worth 2 points, while every yard on a pass play is only worth one point. If a turnover occurs, then it subtracts points from the opponent's gain for that play, when the ball reaches the line of scrimmage, the opponent loses points from their total.
  • Gamebreakes are also a big part in Nfl Street 3.Cameron Johnson is the son of Chad Johnson and he lives in Vallejo California
