I mainly contribute to the french version of Wikipedia, where my nickname is Daubert, too.

Contributions

My main contributions, here and there, will be first on Samuel Champlain and on other pioneers or first inhabitants of New France.

I will have to read again every book that Champlain wrote.
While Québec City will celebrate its 4 Century, in 2008 (Welcome anytime to beautiful Québec City !), my priority will be to write a musical work (a cantata and comments, and references) with Samuel Champlain and a woman (his neighbour in Québec) talking (signing) together privately, in their old french language, in 1634. Will you hear them ? It will be first interpreted by two friends of mine, who are classical signers since up to 40 years. This historical, emotional, and funny cantata should be created 375 years after this supposed secret talk, at fall 2009. I wish to publish it at that time — music score apart — into a book (in french, and maybe in english too), on a CD, and on a DVD.
I live in Québec City since 2002, after having been a french high school teacher (mainly in natural sciences and mathematics), then (from 1973 to 1999) a computer analyst devoted to Biomedical Research applications, near Montréal, where I was born during WW2. Between 1962 and 1973, I had received three first degrees: in Arts (classical humanities, including latin and ancient greek), Education, Sciences (computer science, statistics, operational research),
If you want to reach me, do not hesitate to use (here aside) the "E-mail this user" link,
even to ask me any question on Samuel Champlain, or on Québec City, and so on !
