Howling Bells

Howling Bells formed in Australia in early 2005. Soon after, they packed up and moved to the UK where they recorded their debut record with Coldplay producer Ken Nelson. The album was released early 2006 on the Bella Union label to critical acclaim, including a rare 9/10 in NME and 8/10 in Pitchfork. They spent much of the next two years touring; mostly in Europe, including the Reading and Leeds Festivals and The Latitude Festival. They have recently finished supporting Las Vegas band The Killers throughout the US, Europe and Australia. They also became the favourite support act of British band Placebo completing several tours with them throughout Europe. Howling Bells are currently writing for their highly anticipated second album, due for release early-mid 2008.
