Bisque can refer to:

  • Bisque (pottery), a fired piece of unglazed clay
  • Bisque (food), a thick, creamy soup made from puréed seafood, meats, or vegetables. Technically to be a bisque it should be thickened with rice as opposed to a flour roux, cornstarch, potato flour or other binders, however as with the evolution of many culinary terms it has become most closely associated with fish or shellfish based soups and the original point of differentiation has been largely lost.[1]
  • Bisque (color), an off-white light almond color, usually seen on older kitchen appliances
  • A Croquet term for a free turn in a handicap match.
