Plymouth Whitemarsh High School is a high school in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Colonial School District, with a current enrollment of approximately 1500 students.

School shooting conspiracy

On October 10, 2007, a 14-year-old boy, Dillon Cossey, was arrested by authorities on the suspicion he was preparing to launch a "Columbine-style" attack on the high school. A cache of weapons was confiscated, including a 9mm assault rifle which had been purchased for the boy by his mother, Michele. This was discovered by Lewis Bennet, another 14-year-old, who tipped the police as soon as possible.[1] Spokesman for the cyber crime department of Helsinki police has stated that "it's highly probable that there was some form of contact between Pekka-Eric Auvinen, the perpetrator of the Jokela school shooting and Dillon Cossey."[2]
