The Roxymorrons is a new band formed out of the talentless ashes of Citric Maple, which was formed by Mark Bitanga Del Rosario in the early days of 1995. This was when the “Alternative” music was a hit and the radio stations just can’t get enough of gnarling rock stars and gnashing guitar licks. The intent: to jam all day, pretend to be Kurt Cobain and be a rock star for a day keeping the worries away, all while living in their mother's basement. Those were the summers of Dungeon & Dragons, and comic books, and adventures with Lovecraft and Poppy Z. Brite. Then it came to a point that they were already writing songs, loved it, and got serious enough to play in parties and gigs, after paying an entrance fee.

The band consists of Kiko Tuazon on drums, Pauline Laanan on Guitar and back-up vocals, Mark Bitanga Del Rosario on guitars and vocals, and Red Moyano on bass.

They’re a guitar-based band whose influences range from Nirvana to The Kaiser Chiefs to Radiohead. Their individual influences are a variety of sorts. Kiko likes heavy metal and thrash rapping in his beats. He indulges himself in the fine art of hirsute photography and tinkering on computers. He works for a telecommunications company. Red likes to listen to rock (any kind), works in a sperm bank, and still thinks that he is a session bass player (although he has been reminded so many times that he is not good at his job). Pauline works for a adult call center agency and is the newest addition to the band. Mark delves into punk, new wave, jazz and new age, comic books, literature, fantasy stuff and a lot of RPG. To them, music is music in all its forms, in all its aspect. There are no categories; there is no hate. It all began in a difference in opinion, a discussion between friends, and the love for music. This is where their music comes from.

Down the line, the band is about who they are and what their "music" is all about. They create their own identity experimenting on the different ways of having fun. The music and the performance is what matters most, although you wouldn't be able to guess that during a performance. They have been in the music scene for some time now and will remain there until they can’t play anymore. Again it’s all about fun, mediocre work and patience from the audience. They dream the dream and live the life. “The Roxymorrons is a spark of nonsense,” says Mark, “with the versatility of imaginings and daydreams, with a wisp of being a kid again and forgetting about worldly worries, at least just for a time.”

Also Understand that Video Cameras record film at predictable rates. Typical Film Rates are 24.9 Frames Per Second, 29.95 Frames per second, and many others. So If you are filming at lets say, 30 Frames per second and an Insect flaps its wings at 120 Flaps per second, then if you film the bug Every SINGLE Frame of video will have that bug flapping its wings 4 times. FOUR times on every frame. If they flapped 4 times per frame, then it also will have its body moving the equal distance of 4 flaps in a linear direction on each frame. A distance of 4 flaps directly in front of a Camera Aperture (Lens) would make the insect look long, straight, blurry and the wings would be in the shape of a wave like motion. Pay attention to the videos of "Rods" and notice that in the videos the rods NEVER move the "wing" once the image shows up. Thats because it is an over exposed animal. Some Insects can flap their wings at 300 flaps per second and even faster. That would look insane on a camera filming at 29.95 frames per second.

On an interlaced camera, these effects are doubled, as pointed out on the "Monster-Quest" show aired on the History Channel in Jan 2008.

"I would also like to point out that there was not a single piece of video on that show, that I could not explain using Science, Math and Physics"(This is a statement and can be viewed as fact, opinion, theory or falsehood by the reader).
