Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE: AIT), is one of North America's largest independent distributors and is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2007, the company was listed as 885 on the Fortune 1000. Applied has also been named one of the "Best Big Companies in America" by Forbes magazine for the years 2004 through 2007.
