Sorry, I just forgot to log in. I restored some of the text but I just was in the middle of a cleanup. Thanks for clearing it up.

Triona,
I just started the article. I will add information and sources as soon as I have time. Thank you! Non Curat Lex (talk) 10:04, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
correction by User:Symode09
Hey Triona! I have been given a warning on my talk page for something I have not done. I am an estabished editor (User:Symode09) and, believe this is some coincidence. Thanks 203.59.173.29 (talk) 08:58, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Nonviolent Revolution
Please read the article's talk page. As I said there, I don't have all the sources directly to hand, and I'm not 100% confident in my ability to write a properly NPOV section, but the section should definitely exist, and I'm hoping that my first attempt will encourage others to fill it in.
I've just started looking at the Colour Revolutions page to see if there are any sources there that apply to the Nonviolent Revolution page as well. If not, if I get a chance later, and nobody else has done it, I'll try to dig up sources elsewhere.
Thanks. --76.204.77.196 (talk) 10:45, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for keeping an eye on this article that IP has tried to add that nonsense before, so we will have to be vigilant. Chessy999 (talk) 14:50, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for trimming Metasyntactic variable. I added a comment after the section header that seeks to explain that it is not a list of every possible example. --Jtir (talk) 20:27, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, Stephanie!
I'll try my best to do that. --Alisyntalk 03:37, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, Steph. Are we cool? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rerunner (talk • contribs) 05:42, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Rock Lobster
What did I do wrong? I saw that there was vandalism on the Rock Lobster page, and took the advice of WP:BOLD, and decided to make the change. Should I just stay out of this kind of business? 71.225.77.162 (talk) 01:11, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Warnings
The whole point of huggle is to automate the process of warning vandals, because all these different levels and templates are unnecessary and the less time wasted on it the better. First, if a user ignores their first vandalism warning, they are going to ignore all others as well. No user has ever ignored the first three vandalism warnings and then suddenly decided to pay attention to the fourth. They may have got bored and stopped editing and so appeared to do so, but they did not. Second, all these extra templates like ones for blanking and testing and adding nonsense are completely unnecessary. If a vandal blanks a page and recieves a warning telling them to stop vandalising, do you really think they are going to go "oh, well you didn't identify the specific type of vandalism, therefore I'm not going to stop"? Do you think if someone then leaves a no-blanking template they're going to go "oh, that's what I was doing, I'll stop now"? Please, think about this – Gurch 03:18, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- You have a point there, although I'm also thinking about types of harmful edits that are not vandalism, but still revert-on-sight - such as personal attacks and spam. - Stephanie Daugherty (Triona) - Talk - Comment - 03:21, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
