December 2, 2007 - One Little Village, But Top-Notch Ballet - New York Times.

The Mystic Ballet, based in Mystic, Connecticut is a performing arts educational institution and performing company comprised of professional dancers and young local talents, who have the opportunity to grow as artists, by performing and studying dance on a scholarship basis. The company was founded by Goran Subotic, under artistic leadership of Desiree Subotic, first took form in the winter of 1997, on the stage of Eugene O'Neill Theater.

History

1999 - Madam Alla Osipenko becomes Principal Company Teacher and Honorary Board Director. Mrs. Subotic and Madam Osipenko lay foundation for the education at the School of Mystic Ballet.
