Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Rocky for Admin

I remember thinking a while ago that Rockpocket would make a good admin. Even tho I didnt vote for him/her i was not wrong. (S)he is acting like a good admin so far 8-)

Death of notable animals

Hi, I noticed you attempted to remove the entry for Tatiana at Deaths in 2007. It has been standard procedure for some time to report the death of notable animals, that is, those with their own Wikipedia article. You may like to follow some of the discussion here. Medical advice at the Ref Desk

You may want to play it conservative doing things like this. Yeah, it's not much of a ref desk question, but on the other hand it's not really hurting anything either. I often think it's best to leave things alone in cases like that- some people get really bent out of shape about removals, so IMO it's best to do them only when a plausible case can be made that the questions/answers are harmful in some way. Guidelines are just that, lines to guide your own way through the reference desks. No need to enforce them rigorously regarding others. Everyone should be conservative in this regard, not just you. If something is harmless, it may not be worth the trouble to remove it. If something is potentially harmful, then the balance swings in favor of removing it. The guidelines discourage such stuff- they do not require that it always be removed. On what basis would you assume that I'm forever blowing bubbles is the correct capitalization for a song title?

Note that in the future, should you wish to rename an article, you ought to use the 'move' tab. 'Cut and paste' moves lose the article's history information, which means that the original article authors don't receive the credit that they deserve.

Per Friday's comment above, please don't use 'It's the rules; sorry, I don't make them' or any variant thereof as your sole explanation for potentially-controversial edits.
