Gwyn Ashton is a Welsh-born blues and rock guitarist now living in Australia. He has performed as opening act for Rory Gallagher, B. B. King, Van Morrison, Jeff Healey and Status Quo, among others.[1]

Critics

Awards

In 2001, French Guitar Part Magazine [4] voted Gwyn Ashton third best guitarist of the year, bested only by Jeff Beck and Gary Moore.

In 2007, his album "Prohibiton" was voted Album of the Year by the British Guitar and Bass magazine.
