Tibby Timpson was a Scottish woman, who was tried and convicted of witchcraft, and burnt at the stake. She was a victim of the Scottish witch hunts of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Very little is known of Timpson's life. However, she is officially remembered by the town of Selkirk in the Scottish Borders.

At the time, Timpson was buried in an unmarked grave. In recent years a marker has been erected as close as possible to the exact spot of her execution. Her grave lies on the hill where the "Three Brethren" landmarks are. She was recently pardoned, and each year a floral wreath is placed at her grave by members of the Selkirk Common Riding party.
