RRD Italy - Reti Radiotelevisive Digitali
RRD is the first company in the world to implement and launch a DVB-H commercial service.
The group was established in 2004 by Teletext Italia and in 2005 start working on DVB-H standard, at that time not yet fully standardized.
On December 2005 start deploying DVB-H nationwide network for H3G Italy and by May 2006 the service was ready for commercial launch.
RRD was in charge for site acquisition, analog site conversion, head-end development and operation.
On Q4 2006 RRD develop and deploy Hiwire Head-end in SES-Americom permises.
