Template:MMAstatsbox Tim Boetsch (born January 28, 1981) is an American mixed martial artist, currently competing in the light heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is a four-time Camden-Rockport High School State Champion from Camden, Maine. He wrestled collegiately at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his degree in Criminal Justice. He used to do social work with kids who had behavioral problems before his MMA career. He made his UFC debut at UFC 81, replacing Tomasz Drwal who needed to pull out of the event. He defeated his opponent David Heath by first-round TKO after viciously throwing him onto his head, and consecutively following up with a brutal barrage of strikes to the face. His next fight will be at UFC Fight Night 13 on April 2nd, 2008 against Matt Hamill.
