I have removed the 'See also' section since all these links are available inline. Wikipedia style guidelines say that See also sections are for relevant articles not otherwise linked to. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 06:16, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have merged both Star Tiger and Star Ariel together. Both of these incidents are similar in nature, they were lost in similar circumstances, and both together, with Flight 19, have begun the Bermuda Triangle legend. Carajou 21:15, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is the year on the second NY Times article cited at bottom of page correct?

The year for the article would appear to be 1948 but is given as 1949, a year after the event.
