Welcome

Aliyah, congrats on your first edit! [1]. Now time to get going on the Sarmiento article? --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 07:32, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ruining your life

Re. this change... again, don't worry about the referencing too much. Just make sure that the info is there, somehow, and I or someone else will come in and make sure it's formatted properly. You don't need to spend too much time in ensuring it looks pretty! --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 20:41, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to say the same thing that jbmurray did. If you have any specific questions or are just frazzled all over, feel free to leave a note on the article talk page describing the problem and someone will try to sort it out for you! Karanacs (talk) 20:54, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sarmiento

Just a note to say that the article is coming along well. The biggest problem at the moment is the footnotes: the enotes.com one is still there, and according to jbmurray the historiador one isn't a good one either. I agree with everything you struck out, and I struck a couple more things out. If you can make some progress with the footnotes I think we're getting close.

You were a bit unlucky getting this article! The political material doesn't really make it easy, does it? Looks like jbmurray has that part in hand, though, so if you can fix those sources I think you're in good shape. I'll also take a pass at improving the prose once you've done the citation work. Let me know if I can help with anything -- Mike Christie (talk) 16:28, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Mike thanks so much, I really appreciate you helping us out. Yeah It's a bit of a tough one, and it doesn't help that I've got loads of other work to do. I'll continue trying to replace the footnotes, but I don't know that I'll be able to do it by tomorrow. aliyah (talk) 19:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
