Stop labeling this as metalcore!

THIS SONG IS NOT METALCORE AT ALL. Killswtich Engage, Old Trivium, that's metalcore. OK? 128.205.164.30 18:08, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree that this shouldn't be classified as metalcore, so I added a {{fact}}-template. Please refrain from SHOUTING IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in the future, though. Thank you. SalaSkan 15:27, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lol, this article is ridiculous, we don't need a description of how a freaking song goes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.106.159.197 (talk) 19:30, 1 October 2007 (UTC) WTf is Metalcore?[reply]

Post-HC/Alt-Metal

It's more post-hardcore and alternative metal! not industrial metal or hardcore-punk or metalcore! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.167.204.34 (talk) 11:56, 15 September 2007 (UTC) POST-HARDCORE? That's stuff like Madina Lake, Fightstar and FFAF! Sounds like this? Err, NO Titan50 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 11:31, 8 December 2007 (UTC) Its not post hardcore or screamo but the guitar does give it a Punk/Hardcore soundJonathonDavisthe3rd (talk) 20:40, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I do not belive that Metal is the biggest genre iin the song. It's more Alternative rock.

Maybe Punk influences since that's were alternative rock comes from, but the point is the song is not metal. Mintues to Midnight does nto have Metal. most guitars are kind of soft like. QWERTY (they should have names it Lies, Your Lies, or Behind Your Lies) is a Heavy Metal song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.204.91.236 (talk) 01:54, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, alternative metal is kind of like a fusion between alternative rock and heavy metal. This song is definitely one of the hardest on the album and might have punk influences in it. But it's predominantly alternative metal, more so than alternative rock at least. I'm going to change it back. Timmeh! 03:16, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

just call it Alt Metal and mention in the article it has punk influences. Metalcore is like Thrash Metal meets Hardcore. This is Alt Metal meets Hardcore —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.170.94.219 (talk) 02:59, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kind of contradictory

It's not a full-on contradiction, so I won't use the template, but does this seem off to anyone but me?

This is one of the heaviest songs from the album, (along with "No More Sorrow") and is notable for lead singer, Chester Bennington, screaming for approximately 17 consecutive seconds near the end of the track during the heavy metal-styled breakdown, which he is also able to replicate during live performances.

That makes it sound like he does the 17 second scream every time the band performs the song. Yet, later:

In Live performances, the 17 second scream was only ever done all the way through three times

Am I the only one who sees this as a contradiction? If so, that's fine, I just thought I ought to raise the point. Tromboneguy0186 12:11, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

it's not so much that it's contradictory (although it is) but the whole article is just one big unorganized mess with each sentence more random than the next. maybe the bridge should have its own section? -- —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.204.13.252 (talk) 22:46, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone needs to completely rewrite the article. It is absolutely a mess. Any help would be appreciated, especially from anyone who knows a lot about this song. ╦ﺇ₥₥€Ԋ(talk/contribs) 23:08, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I reorganized it. I'm going to need your guys' help to patch up whatever's still messed up. Jay59 (talk) 04:11, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Altrnative rock

It is rock. Not metal. It has no agressive guitar style.

Earlier release in Malaisia?
