End of reaction: who takes the proton ?
That mechanism looks a little funky. Hydride attacking bisulfate??? If anyone feels like fixing it that would be great. I don't even think bisulfate should be doing the deprotonation, more likely H2O..... 128.223.32.10 13:55, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, there is a inconsistency between the text (describing a water molecule takes the proton) and the picture (showing the HSO4- does it). - I suggest to change the picture so it shows Oxonium and water molecules acting instead of H2SO4. Changing the picture would also solve the problem for other languages (e.g. de:Hydratisierung) -- Gerd Fahrenhorst 08:08, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- OK, should be corrected. sorry it took me a year to change it lol. Ccroberts @ 17:41, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
