Gameplay

Everyday Shooter is a top-down shooter similar to Asteroids. The player controls a small dot that must navigate eight different levels. On each level the gameplay dynamics change and the player must figure out how to proceed. As the player interacts with the environment their actions cause music to be procedurally generated. Jonathan Mak describes the game as:

...an album of games exploring the expressive power of abstract shooters. Dissolute sounds of destruction are replaced with guitar riffs harmonizing over an all-guitar soundtrack, while modulating shapes celebrate the flowing beauty of geometry.
