spinART Records is a now-defunct independent record label. Based in New York, artists that have released music under the spinART banner include The Apples in Stereo, Clem Snide, Frank Black and Michael Penn. spinART went out of business in early 2007.[citation needed]

Trivia

The CEO of spinART, Jeff Price, is also the CEO of the iTunes aggregator, TuneCore.

Jeff started his career in music at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster PA as a DJ on WFNM FM 89.1. He interviewed Frank Black at that time.
