Story
Over 100 years have passed since the last encounter with the Vonari. The Alliance has used the time to research and reverse engineer advanced alien technology in an effort to better confront the Vonari threat. The result is a new breed of powerful spacecraft and weapons. But a mysterious development by the Vonari is about to shake humanity's confidence at its core...
Multiplayer focus
While the game features a campaign, most gameplay is found in the multiplayer options of the game. Featuring many multiplayer modes, the game is ideal for LAN gaming and clan forming.
Critical reception
Arvoch Conflict is enjoyed by clans from different other spacesims, who happily use the multiplayer mode for their combat. It never became widely popular and usually stands in the shadows of Evochron: Alliance. However, the game was a reasonable success with a solid userbase and allowed the independent game developer to continue working on Evochron Renegades. Most reviews were very positive - Gamespy even claimed that "any gamer who's even partially interested in space combat owes it to him/herself to give Arvoch Conflict a whirl".
