Slammiversary 2007 was the third annual Slammiversary professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It took place on June 17 2007 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.[3] It marked the fifth anniversary of the promotion, and was also TNA's first televised event in the state of Tennessee since the end of their weekly pay-per-view events in September 2004.[1] The tagline was "Massacre in Music City!". The official theme song was "Boom Boom" by the LoCash Cowboys,[4] who performed the song live.[5]

Prior to the main event, Jeff Jarrett held a shoot interview where he discussed the recent death of his wife Jill,[3] who died on May 23 2007 of breast cancer (Ironiclly exactly 8 years after his friend Owen Hart died after falling from the ceiling at WWF Over the edge 1999) .[6][7] Jarrett discussed how she influenced the company during the "early days" followed by saying he doesn't know when or where he'll wrestle again.[3] Jarrett then concluded by thanking the fans for their support on his and his wife's behalf.[3] The fans responded by chanting Jill's name as well as "Thank you Jeff".[3]
