This is a private school in Karachi, Pakistan. It was started in 1847 by the British as a school for English and Indian children. The school remained small, with about 300 students in 1940. In recent years it has expanded to three branches in Karachi.

At one time KGS was considered the best school in Pakistan, and is still considered amongst the top schools. The Educational Testing Service (ETS), which administers the SAT, reported 4 years ago that KGS had the highest average SAT score of any school in the world (1240). KGS's primary rival is Aitchison College in the city of Lahore.
