Nabil Gabol

Sardar Nabil Ahmed Khan Gabol (Balochi:سردار نبیل احمد خان گبول) (born November 16, 1963) is the son of Sardar Ahmed Khan Gabol, and grandson of Khan Bahadur Allah Buksh Gabol (the first Deputy Speaker of Sindh Assembly and twice the mayor of Karachi)[1]

Mr. Gabol has a tremendous following from the Gabol tribe in Karachi, Baran, Jacobabad, Gadap, Dadu, Kashmore, Ghotki, Badin, Ali Pur, Rajanpur, and many other areas including Gabols in Saudi Arabia.[2]. Mr. Gabol's political affiliation is with the Pakistan Peoples Party, and he has been elected for five consecutive times from the same constituency,. He also holds the distinction of being the youngest Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly[1]. Recently Mr. Gabol has been included on a special Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) team to provide relief and reconciliation to Balochistan [2].

Sardar Gabol also has the distinction of meeting Sultan Qaboos of Oman, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (of UAE), Bill Clinton. On his official trip to the United States, he was awarded the honorary citizenship of the State of Illinois.[3]
