how do i name the title of my page? Rez Biz magazine for search?
- First of all, you've created the article in your user space. Furthermore, your username suggests that you're affiliated with the magazine, which is usually considered conflict of interest and thus frowned upon. Also, the magazine doesn't appear to be notable anyway, so even if I fixed it, it would be highly unlikely to survive. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:User:Rezbiz1|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. MY RESPONSE: 1. First of all, this publication is a Native American publication. Thus among Native American, it is INDEED notable. It IS THE ONLY PUBLICATION OF ITS KIND. GEE, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS HAS WRITTEN ABOUT IT a few times. If that does not make it notable, I don;t know what does.
2. Just because this is not a a mainstream publication does not mean WE SHOULD BE discounted or our voices, not heard. This is not fair and is only another example of minorities being silence in the media
- It has nothing to do with the minorities being silenced. If you want, I can help you write an article that is neutral in tone (see Wikipedia:Neutral point of view), as I'm indeed finding multiple third-party sources to assert the magazine's notability. Sorry if I got a little jumpy. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 19:33, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I am a writer, actually. And yes, there are many third party sources. It was even in Business Week three years ago. I would appreciate. And I can take another stab at writing it. I have some images, cover pages as wel that I want to post. I will read the neutral writing.
