Lunada is the eleventh studio album (and fourteenth album) by the Mexican pop singer Thalía. It was released on EMI Music on June 24, 2008. It is the first album to be released after Thalia's first child was born.
There was a significant build-up to the release of the album. Entertainment shows from all over the world were allowed to the video shoot for "Ten Paciencia", including E! and Univision. A grande gathering was also prepared for the official release of the album.
Controversy
The cover art to "Lunada" was compared to that of Australian band Cut Copy's album Bright Like Neon Love. Both show strong similarities, including the same color to the face, similar glasses and lipstick color and overall appearance. To this, Thalia responded that this was "what had been presented to [her] by her creative group and that she hoped her work would inspire others in the future."
