Even Stevens is a comedy television program which aired on the Disney Channel from 2000 to 2003. The plot centers around the Stevens family, and in particular the harebrained schemes concocted by middle-schooler Louis Stevens and how they disturb his perfectionist older sister, Ren. Although a sitcom, the show did not use a laugh track. However, one of the main trademark camera shots used on the show were fast-motion transitions between scenes.

Similar to Lizzie McGuire and Kim Possible, production on the show ceased after 65 episodes due to Disney's policies, even though the show was still quite popular.

The Title's Origin

The title is a pun on the phrase 'even steven', which is often employed to describe a situation, such as a sporting event, in which the scores are even.
