The Veritas Project is a short-lived Christian science fiction series of books written by Frank E. Peretti and targeted towards teenagers.

Veritas meaning truth.

The first book Hangmans curse focuses on popular kids at a school that become suddenly sick and act very strangely. On all of the students lockers that are sick a hangman symbol is placed by a mysterious person who nobody knows who is.

Overview

The Veritas Project is a government-funded team that investigates supernatural occurrences and crimes around the country. The team consists of a Judeo-Christian family; Nate and Sarah Springfield, and their sixteen-year-old twins Elijah and Elisha.

Books

Currently, the only two entries in the series are Hangman's Curse (2001) and Nightmare Academy (2002).
