You don't need mediawiki to do it. It would help to download GeSHi to see how the other languages work though. If you look here you can see the other language files. I'm not really an expert on PHP and I can't tell a lot of what's going on in those files, but I haven't looked all that hard at them. It looks like it would be easy enough to just drop things from the language in there as long as you knew how to classify all of them. --Mwn3d (talk) 23:30, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Mwn3d , I'll take a look at that. Once I get the PHP written though, I'm concerned about how to get it installed at WikiMedia and RC.
For MediaWiki, I was referred to the Support Desk by HappyDog.
By the way, I saw you don't like J because it has no words. I suspect this was in reponse to my ZigZag puzzle. I saw a couple others had the same frustration, so I wrote up an extended exposition on the J solution. If you skim through it, you might get an idea of why J is so terse (I even quoted you, in the summary :).
