Trailer light converter
Appearance
Trailer light converter is the name of an electrical component used for the wiring of a trailer onto the towing vehicle. It is usually necessary because of differences in the wiring of the two vehicles, such as a difference in voltage or the number of wires.
Wiring
A Trailer light converter (TLC) follows an electrical wiring colour scheme.[1][2]

For example, the patented TLC Towpower, manufactured by Reese, utilizes the aforementioned colour patern.[2] The other end of this device uses a 4-Way flat wire connection.[1]
