Udmurt People
Maybe it worth of mentioning that Ud-murts have one of the largest percentage in whole Ud-murt population (more than their percentage of Irish and Bretons) red heared and grey or blue eyed people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.114.205.131 (talk) 01:56, August 30, 2007 (UTC)

- I'm not the poster above, but (s)he may have gotten that information from here: http://www.udm.ru/history.html which says as such five paragraphs into the "Udmurt Ethnos" section. I'm not sure how reliable the page is, but it's the first Google hit for "udmurt" and and seems to be reasonably well put together. --137.122.200.89 (talk) 20:28, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- In addition to local information, many articles are available of the red heared Udmurts, but unfortunately only in Estonian and Finnish languages. The above note was taken of one of them.
Russia´s first female sex novelist
Udmurt women have opened the old taboo in Russia. Red heared Serafina Blaganina did it by writing a book of her own sex experiences with men. Her novel become a local best seller and she was asked to talk openly of it in several arranged meetings in Udmurt villages. At first the old Udmurt women (and few men) listened her quietly but when she had finished her talk all old women approved her message only feeing sorry that they had not have possibility to do the same things in their youth what Serafina Blaganova told in her book. The babushka jungle drum message system worked effectively from village to village and the success of Serafina´s tour was quaranteed.
