Petar Metličić (born December 25, 1976 in Split) is a Croatian handball player. He is captain for the Croatian national team,[1] which won a gold medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens[2] as well as the 2003 World Handball Championship in Portugal.

Club play

Metličić plays for the Spanish club BM Ciudad Real and was part of the team that took the 2006 EHF Champions League title.[1]
