Hugh Jesse Arnelle (born December 30, 1933 in New Rochelle, New York) is a retired American basketball player and attorney.

He played collegiately for Penn State, leading his team to the 1954 NCAA Final Four. He was named as an All-American in 1954.

He was selected by the Fort Wayne Pistons in the 2nd round (15th pick overall) of the 1955 NBA Draft.

He played for the Pistons (1955-1956) in the NBA in 31 games.
