Hi! Just a friendly note to let you know to be careful when uploading images. Many are copyrighted and can't be used here. Swing by my talk page if you have any questions. Have fun! - Lucky 6.9 01:00, 16 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image:USA84.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:USA84.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, ie in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --Fire Star 03:02, 17 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging Image:Alice kim.jpg

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Alice kim.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Tawker 05:59, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well..

I am not bragging. It is just a personal page. And personal means exactly that. About the fact that anyone can edit Wikipedia - well, anyone can do it. That's the purpose - anyone can edit it. I am ok with that. And the fact that many people are older than me - I really, really don't give much shit about it. About the fact that people are vandalizing your personal page - well, that's bad, but I think that there are bots around here that prevent vandalisms and revert malicious edits on personal pages. Also, I am all-around guy and this information is relevant to the point that I would just like to present myself in a meaningful way. I've been here for three years and I held my work here as a big achievement. I don't think I know much and I don't like to show it. Should I write it there as Socrates, that I know nothing?

Elvis and Vandalism

Sensed your frustration about the Presley article. Unfortunately, he inspires as much hatred as adoration and he's quite unique in this regard. Great effort is being made to produce a neutral article that reflects his achievements, after it was continually hijacked by immature or ignorant people and, in particular, editors wishing to include material claiming he was gay/bisexual, and had sex with his mother. Go figure...! Rikstar 09:26, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

Good day to you! I logged on and immediately noticed a orange sign saying that I received a new message on my talk page (I don't receive messages much so that was a bit of a surprise). Be friends on Wikiepdia? Sure, anytime! My time is running out and I got to get back to my schoolwork, but I look forward to your next message. Later K | 01:17, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Teri Rhodes

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Teri Rhodes, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Teri Rhodes. Regarding your comments

I'm not going to get into an edit war, but you can take a look at WP:BIO1E and WP:NOT#NEWS to see why I question Teri Rhodes's notability. And please remember to be civil and sign your posts on other peoples' talk pages. Cheers, Dawn bard (talk) 15:45, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your other comments

You recently shared your opinion about adultism on its talk page. As the talkheader on the page suggests, please refrain from sharing your personal opinions about article topics, particularly as, in this case, they contribute nothing positive to WP. Thanks. • Freechild'sup? 13:34, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. - I cleaned up your article on Teri Rhodes. • Freechild'sup? 14:09, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
