Tom Chilton is the lead game designer (specifically over game systems, game balance, character classes, combat, items, pvp, auctions, mail system, and world events) for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft under the nickname "Kalgan." He also was the Lead Designer for an Add-on for the MMORPG Ultima Online called Age of Shadows under the nickname "Evocare."

Personal

Tom Chilton is a Game Designer who has been a key part of the development of World of Warcraft. Along with Co-Lead Jeffrey Kaplan, he has worked at Blizzard Entertainment for five years. Tom Chilton plays a warrior, among other classes. He's often the butt of jokes pertaining to the game, mainly made by those that don't agree with the decisions he's made. He has been known to express his views upon the official Blizzard forums, though doing so often makes him the target of anger within the community.
