Jim Kozimor

Jim Kozimor is a television and radio personality for the Sacramento Kings and the Sacramento Monarchs. His duties for the Kings include hosting the warm-up and wrap-up show Kings Live for Comcast SportsNet, as a sideline reporter for Kings games televised on KXTV, host of the weekly Kings Talk show on KHTK as well as his own nightly Jim Kozimor ShowGram on that station. He performs similar duties for the Monarchs: hosting the weekly Monarchs Talk show and serving as the radio and television play-by-play announcer for the team.

In addition to his obligations to Sacramento's basketball franchises, Kozimor serves as the host of Comcast SportNet's Oakland Raiders televised press conferences and serves as the play-by-play announcer for other local sports on the channel.

Kozimor served as the play by play announcer for NBC Sports coverage of Badminton at the 2008 Summer Olympics. ^[1]

Kozimor is a native of Chicago and holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Michigan State University. He is an avid hockey fan and a fan of the Chicago Cubs.

The diminutive Kozimor, who is too short to ride most American roller coasters, has a bumper sticker on his Kia Santa Fe that says, "Short People Rock!" He often tells stories on his radio show about his strange adventures with trying to find clothes for himself in the children's section.

Kozimor and his wife Sandra have three daughters: Addison and twins Ava and Sasha.
