Upper Merion Area School District

The Upper Merion Area School District serves Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania, Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, and West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. It consists of six schools.

Schools

  • Upper Merion Area High School (grades 9-12)
  • Upper Merion Area Middle School (grades 5-8)
  • Bridgeport Elementary School (grades K-4)
  • Caley Road Elementary School (grades K-4)
  • Candlebrook Elementary School (grades K-4)
  • Roberts Elementary School (grades K-4)

The mascot for the Upper Merion Area Middle School and High School is the Viking. School colors are Gold and Navy Blue. The mascot for Caley Road Elementary School is the Cougar. The mascot for Roberts Elementary School is the Raccoon. The mascot for Candlebrook Elementary school is the Cub. The mascot for Bridgeport Elementary school is the Dragon. A new middle school was completed in 2006, as part of the district's plan to replace most school buildings. Three of the four Elementary Schools have been rebuilt since 2000: Candlebrook, Bridgeport, and Roberts Elementary.
