Liferuiner

Liferuiner is a hardcore, straight edge band originally from Toronto, Ontario. They were previously named xLIFERUINERx. The band has released two full albums,[[No Saints, and Taking Back The Night Life. Over the years, their lineup has changed extensively, with the band having over 45 members in its carrer. The band, currently consisting of Brian, Dan, Chopps, and Aaron, has stated that the current lineup will be the last and final lineup of liferuiner, and if any of them quit, the band is over.

History

The former Canadian band signed a one-record deal with Tribunal Records for the distribution of No Saints, followed by a one-record deal with Uprising Records, which culminated in the recording & release of the album Taking Back The Night Life in 2008.[1] The current American line-up have recently announced that they have signed a multi-album deal with Uprising Records, and that a new album is to be released in March 2009. Although none of the members in the current American lineup are original members or were involved in the writing or creation of any of the previous releases, they claim to be a permanent and final lineup.[2] On Sunday July 27, 2008, a blog was posted on the Liferuiner's Myspace page announcing the return of Jonathan O'Callaghan, and the circumstances of Jonny's return to the band. Jonathan never returned to Liferuiner after his mid-tour departure in the beginning of 2008. Jonny has been keeping busy with Toronto band Siberia as their drummer. The messages and pictures on the Liferuiner myspace page in July of 2008 glorifying Jonny's 'return' were simply a publicity stunt by the American band's current members and management.
