Erik Edman
Erik Edman (born November 11, 1978) is a professional Swedish footballer who plays as a defender. He currently plays for Rennes in the Ligue 1. Before coming to France, Edman played for Helsingborgs in Sweden, SC Heerenveen in the Netherlands and Tottenham Hotspur in England. He joined Rennes on August 31st, 2005, for an undisclosed amount. The Spurs fans will always remember his stunning goal from 35 yards against Liverpool on April 16th, 2005.
He wears number 9 jersey for Rennes and number 5 for Swedish National Squad.
