Education: B.S. in molecular biology from Michigan Technological University, graduate studies in biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin
Career: Content Team Lead and Product Owner at Sapling Systems. We're launching a new project for online homework and self study. Very exciting!
Activities: All things geeky, such as various Wikipedia editing, learning about the MediaWiki software and teaching myself PHP to work on it, setting up WikiMol (link removed to curb non-stop vandalism) to collect 3D molecules in one location, role-playing games, computer games such as World of Warcraft and Utopia (although I don't play either anymore), pub quizzes here in Austin, and web design.

Within Wikipedia, I am currently working on de-stubbing sorted stubs, particularly in these categories:

I am joining WikiProject Spoken Wikipedia, but I have to work out some technical bugs and set aside the time to actually do some recording.

I'm also looking into the History of Science WikiProject, but I'm not quite involved just yet.
