Joe Dolce is an American-born, Australian-resident singer/songwriter of Italian ancestry who achieved fame with the song "Shaddap You Face", recorded under the name Joe Dolce Music Theatre.
- 2005 - 2006 is the 25th Anniversary of 'Shaddap You Face', Number 1 in 1980, and the most successful song in Australian music history for 25 years consecutively! (Slim Dusty held the previous record of 23 years, for 'The Pub With No Beer,' Australia's only Gold 78 rpm record!! released in 1957!)
- Australian Gospel Songwriting Awards 2004, Best Folk Gospel Song: Hill of Death. Written from a poem by LOUISA LAWSON, the extraordinary mother of Henry Lawson. Special guest at the Henry Lawson Festival in Grenfell 2005. Included on two Best of Australian gospel music compilations 2005.
