BinTube is a binary Usenet client for the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Features

BinTube streams video, audio and images directly from Usenet[1]. Other features include SSL connections, automatic repair of downloaded data and OpenSearch compliant search giving it the capability to find content on most web based Usenet search engines.

BinTube.com also offers a free binary Usenet search engine.

History

Usenet has been the exclusive playground of computer geeks. The idea behind BinTube was to bring Usenet to the masses like Napster did with P2P[2]. BinTube achieves this by providing a simple user interface and performing everythig involved in getting content from Usenet behind the scenes.
