Joshua Robert Barrett (born November 22, 1984 in Template:City-state) is an American football safety who is a player for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Broncos in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arizona State.

Early years

He played high school football, basketball, and one year of baseball at Reno High School in Reno.

Professional career

On August 31, 2008, Barrett was signed to the Broncos practice squad.[1] On November 23, 2008 Barrett was put on the active roster. On December 18, 2008 Barrett got his first career interception on a tipped pass from Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Dehlomme.
