I have been very active on the subject of pop punk and am really interested in coming to a transcendent/reflexive/holistic understanding which can be written according to wikipedia guidelines. Use the user talk page for communication. I would love to hear from as many different perspectives and locations as possible. I even tried talking about punk with my 85 year-old grandfather but we didn't get passed Elvis films and Bob Dylan songs which he liked a little. He doesn't care for The Beatles. I asked him about Vietnam and he had some interesting perspectives on counter-culture. It seems that he didn't have too much to say about punk in the late 70s, and beyond.
