CalPOP

The CalPOP article was originally deleted in error. It was discussed on the mzmbride talk. The article was not similar to the time it was originally deleted for having no references. References had been added and the article had been up for a year. CalPOP is a notable company being the largest server company in Los Angeles. Other articles like the RackSpace article are similar. The article has several references which is the reason it was first deleted over 1 year ago for not having references. Please explain why you don't like this article.

Thanks for your help in keeping an eye on this sockpuppet. justinfr (talk) 16:32, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

National Post/National Journal

Unless I'm missing something, the line you have been 'correcting' regarding Biden's liberal score is NOT from the National Post but the National Journal. And the view of Biden being 'generally' centrist is also pulled from the article you cited. Before continuing to edit, explain yourself. Matt Yohe (talk) 17:35, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Vienna fingers

You didn't actually place the CSD tag on Vienna fingers as you advised User:Ask the fudgecicle you were going to. Kaiwhakahaere (talk) 04:07, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Belay that, it was Non-dropframe I meant to leave the message with. Kaiwhakahaere (talk) 04:08, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Hello, this is ask the fudgecicle. I wrote the vienna fingers pages. Unfortunately, there is an extremely minimal amount of information to be found about the Keebler cookie; not even a history. Currently, I am trying to write more and also apply for administatorship. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ask the fudgecicle (talkcontribs) 00:53, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Kuching's Mayor

Hi, aren't the mayors of cities are considered important persons? Kuching Mayor Why does such article meets the criteria of the speedy deletion? Mike86 (talk) 07:24, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Mayors don't necessarily meet the bar of WP:POLITICIAN. Is Kuching a large city? Has he received notable press coverage? None of that is clear from the article. Right now it's empty, and it wasn't even entirely clear what city he was a mayor of. You should make that clear in the article. --Mr. Vernon (talk) 07:27, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

---It's mentioned. It's a Kuching's mayor. I will collaborate and discuss with the other editors about it. Cheers anyway. Mike86 (talk) 07:33, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

There's no info on the page, yes, but there is a shiny shiny bluelink to Kuching, where the first sentence reads "Kuching is the capital of the East Malaysian state of Sarawak". If you can easily find out if the person is notable but it doesn't assert it in the page, don't you think that maybe inserting that information would be a better idea than nominating a perfectly valid article for deletion? Ironholds 09:29, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi, you commented that this article should be deleted as a hoax. Since then I have found a number of sources which strongly suggest it is genuine, and presented them at the AfD. You may want to look at them, and possibly reconsider your vote. the wub "?!" 15:41, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Reviewed Page

I saw you added a tag to the attached page. I patrolled it, nothing has happened, it should probably be deleted as rank advertizing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monica_Ortega

Let me know if you want me to nominate it on my talk page, and I will do so.Yachtsman1 (talk) 03:00, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Never mind. It was too mind numbingly obvious to let it stand in my opinion. I nominated it.Yachtsman1 (talk) 03:10, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of mancrush

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article mancrush, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Dominus (talk) 15:43, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Leonid G. Kreidik

I declined the speedy tag you placed on Leonid G. Kreidik because the article seemed to be making a claim of notability with the journal editorship (which matches in form at least one of the criteria of WP:PROF). However I am not at all convinced that the article should stay on Wikipedia. He's a crank, but is he a notable crank? I wasn't sure, so I just left a {{notability}} tag on it, but you may wish to try prodding it or taking it to AfD instead. —David Eppstein (talk) 08:22, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

uncat tag

I don't want to nitpick on you, but you may not have noticed that this edit [1] added a category to the article, and tagged it as uncategorized at the same time. Also, any stub template places the article in the stub category. Beeblebrox (talk) 07:06, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for catching/fixing that! --Mr. Vernon (talk) 07:08, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Gogoperson

with all due respect this criteria for speedy deletion is rather silly. Every article i have put in has had this tag! And why? I made an article about my company Hi Productions, and that was deleted because it said it didnt explain the significance of it, well, sure the article was short, but thats no reason to delete it, and I made an article on the youtube blackout and it called that vandalism! vandalism! Now is that necessary? sorry im getting upset but i've had no luck with you people and im starting to get annoyed, do what you will, but i have said what I wanted to. great! wikipedia got more mad and me more annoyed cause i didnt sign the thing, well fine!!!!! account thats probably gone by now Gogoperson jeez!

......

Vernon person I apreciate the help, however, i am still annoyed, know that, i have calmed down, i am just a little annoyed by wikipedias rules, hey at least theres something out there that would give information on something, even if its short, even if it states no sources, one thing: what if there are no sources on it? Like Hi Productions I created, there are no sources except for me and my partners, and my videos i suppose. I can understand the youtube blackout thing, but there arent many sources on that eithier, i just reported all I could find. I guess i wont delete my account... but i am still a bit annoyed, still, thanks, Gogoperson —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gogoperson (talkcontribs) 21:48, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Your Afd

It would have been better if you tagged it for speedy deletion db-nonsense (with {{ }} on the sides) Have a nice Day! The Rolling Camel (talk) 22:13, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Ugh...

I'm an idiot. Haven't been using the syntax for too long, lol. Thanks for the quick fix. Kareeser|Talk! 03:29, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Please Y'Self

Actually, Please Y'Self were an important 80's band, and they have nothing to do much with me. I am not their manager or even related to them. Please Y'Self were notable, as they had 2 number 2 songs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Koshoes (talkcontribs) 14:42, 23 December 2008 (UTC) Yeah, and I have also noticed that you are AMERICAN. All because you haven't heard of it because of your nationality doesn't mean they are not a notable band, does it? You think that your bands are brilliant, but you AMERICANS only like them, not British people, does it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Koshoes (talkcontribs) 14:46, 23 December 2008 (UTC) Could you take the tag off then? Koshoes (talk) 14:51, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

You do know that it is EXTREMELY hard to find clippings from 1984 on the internet, isn't it? Koshoes (talk) 14:58, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

These people are from the Gill family, and this is an interview with Roy Goodall from the Derbyshire Times: [2]. Note people came all the way from Germany just to watch this band says a lot. Plus they went to the falkland Islands to do a tour and went on a World Tour in 1984. Hi, Just A Small Issue

Hi Mr Vernon. I have wondered why you have put a request stating that Norwich Park and Ride be deleted. I have added some more information, but I want to know if that will be enough to keep. Reply on my talk page. See you and thanks for your time. Dennisman 16:51, 23 December 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dennisman (talkcontribs)

It is the biggest park and ride facillity in Britain. I thought that there wasn't enough information on it on the Norwich page. Reply again on my talk page. Dennisman 10:52, 24 December 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dennisman (talkcontribs)

I have now removed the deletion tag off the page in question, because I feel it only needs to be cleaned-up and a little more info added onto the page, to make it notable. Could you also try to improve the article or find another user who can give me more info to add on the article. Reply, as always on my talk page. --Dennisman (talk) 11:14, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

The Sabretooth Tiger Band

Dear Mr. Vernon,

Could you possibly reinstate The Sabretooth Tiger Band?

I am based in London and trying to keep track of once signed bands Do Me Bad Things and Tokyo Dragons, their members and off-shoots. Keeping the page brings the situation up to date.

I believe this band will be signed and achieve national success.

Thank you

Hi, you should try creating that gallery at the Wikipedia Commons. That's the proper place for it. I think it would be useful. --Mr. Vernon (talk) 06:36, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the info....check out the page here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Civil_Air_Patrol_Patches 68.187.89.72 (talk) 18:10, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

The removal of the PROD template appears to be valid – if you still think the article should be deleted, you could nominate it at Articles for deletion. —Snigbrook 14:34, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Whoops, CfD notify for Gasoline heater

Could you please fix/explain the use of the category merge notification template on User talk:James48843? We're discussing merging two articles, not two categories, so the template doesn't make any sense. I think it might have been an automatic edit. Thanks.--Martinship (talk) 15:16, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

watever

whatever mr. vernon I can understand wikipedia's rules, it makes sense, problem solved Gogoperson (talk) 01:02, 27 December 2008 (UTC) Gogoperson

Hi, I don't understand how that one fits the definition of vandalism, so I have removed your speedy tag and redirected it to Snickers. A quick google search reveals the company is probably using the word Substantialiscious in ad campaigns. [5] The word in itself doesn't deserve an article, though. Let me know (and revert my edit if necessary) if I'm missing something. Cheers!--Unpopular Opinion (talk) 21:15, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

CSD

Please refrain from tagging pages for speedy deletion for reasons other than criteria explicitly listed at WP:CSD. If you believe an article should be deleted, but the article does not meet one of those criteria, do not mark for CSD with your rationale; rather user PROD or AFD. This and this are not criteria. Thank you. seresin ( ¡? )  02:47, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Please consider the United States Adjusters page, as it is almost identical to our other site "Adjusters International" If you are allowing one site you should allow the other - OR ALLOW NEITHER OF THEM - this makes zero sence
