Brokencyde

BrokeNCYDE is a band from Albuquerque, New Mexico. It consists of four members who have nicknamed themselves Se7en, Phat J, Mik L, and Antz.

Background

BrokeNCYDE is the unholy union of emo faggots and a casio. Quite possibly the worst group of girl pants-wearing poser homos on the planet. According to them, the etymology of their band name comes from the idea of being "Broken inside", hence Brokencyde. They write lyrics and songs about surprise buttsex from daddy. Se7en is part Bill Kaulitz and part Amy Winehouse with a voice that makes scissors stabbing your inner ear seem pleasing.

They gained popularity on Myspace, and their self-released debut album "The Broken!" followed in 2007.

They have a loyal following of preteen girls, pedophiles and other emo faggots, as evidenced by the nearly 160,000 contacts and 21.7 million total song plays they have received on their Myspace profile as of December 2008.

Publicity

In July, Brokencyde earned a spot on MTV's Total Request Live where they played on the segment "Under the Radar" for millions of viewers. This was followed by mass suicide throughout the country. They performed their song "Freaxxx". Soon after were signed to Suburban Noize Records.

With such classic hyphy jams as "FreaXXX" and a shitty rendition of "Get Crunk" they do their part to make the baby jesus cry.

In the months leading up to their appearance, they were averaging 45,000 plays a day on their Myspace profile. As of November 2008, they were averaging 80,000 daily plays.

Since being signed, they've released the "BC13 - EP", and are currently working on a full length album, due out in 2009. Their two previous self-released albums, and one self-released EP, are no longer available for purchase or download.

On December 6, 2008 they appeared on Fearless Music TV performing their song "Sex Toyz". They were brought back the next week on December 13 to perform "Freaxxx".

Tours

BrokeNCYDE has toured with bands such as Breathe Carolina, Karate High School, The Morning Of and Lets Get It.
In the summer of 2008, they went on the "GET F$CKED UP" US Tour with Millionaires as the headliners and Hyper Crush as another supporting act. Special guests, And Then There Were None, and The Arrival each took half of the tour as well.
They went on the "I'm So Fierce" US Tour with headliner, Jeffree Star, as well as other supporting acts, Grab A Girl And Dance, Kill Paradise, Red Car Wire, and Teen Hearts in Fall, 2008.

Criticism

Metal Edge Magazine has called brokeNCYDE "fucking horrendous."[1] British commentator Warren Ellis calls BrokeNCYDE's "Freaxxx" music video "a near-perfect snapshot of everything that’s shit about this point in the culture."[2]
