The article doesn't address the 20th and 21st century. But I'm myself only beginning to collect information. E.g. the last Beguine in Amsterdam died in 1971, and in 2004 five Beguines lived in Kortrijk [1] -- maybe the very last. --Pjacobi 21:37, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This needs a disambiguation page to separate Beguines from Beguine (dance), but I don't know how to set one up or I'd do it. 03:40, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
