David Anthony Faustino (born February 5, 1974) is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his role as Budrick "Bud" Bundy on the sitcom Married... with Children.

Biography

Career

In addition to acting, Faustino was an unsuccessful rap artist under the pseudonym D L'il. His sole commercial release was in a track on the 1992 album Balistyx, named after the night club which he owns. His rap career was spoofed on Married... with Children as Bud's failed attempt to score by being a rapper called "Grandmaster B" which was heavily made fun of as the characters couldn't ever get the name right calling him names like: Grandfather B, Grinchmaster B, Bedwetter B and Hatnapper B. Faustino was credited for the idea of the episode after listening to a number of rap music albums on the set during breaks and his failing rap career, causing the writers to poke fun of him to which Faustino agreed.

Faustino appeared in the 2002 celebrity/reality television special Celebrity Boot Camp (a shortened version of the Boot Camp series for b-list celebrities). In 2001, he appeared in the low-budget film Killer Bud produced by Aglet Productions.

He is in the process of filming for the movie RoboDoc in which he will star as the character Jason Dockery. Faustino has most recently (April 2007) been featured in an American McDonald's commercial introducing the 'Dollar Menunaires'. Recently, he is working on Star-ving, a mockumentary based on Entourage where many celebrities spoof themselves. He has also signed a deal with National Lampoon to be involved with three low-budget films.

He ranked #48 on VH1's 100 Greatest Kid Stars.

Personal life

David was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Kay (née Freeman), a homemaker, and Roger Faustino, a costumer.[1] His younger brother, Michael (born on November 16, 1979), is an actor, as was his oldest brother Randy; (their only sister, Nicole, didn't follow in her brothers' footsteps) his stepsister is Dawn Archuleta in Las Vegas.

Attended St. Finbar Elementary, a private school in Burbank, California.

According to a radio interview, Faustino claims he was one of the people who is responsible for the success of will.i.am's career.

After meeting at a spiritual center in Los Angeles and dating for five years he married Andrea Elmer on January 24, 2004, at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.[2]

Faustino and Elmer, who have no children, separated in May 2006. Faustino is seeking not to pay spousal support, according to the papers filed in Los Angeles. Elmer is currently living with Irene Novac, a Ph.D student, and Coolio, a friend of Faustino's.

On February 6, 2007, David Faustino officially filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences.[3] His divorce from Andrea was final on December 28, 2007.

He has since started becoming an active member of the seduction community, as well as a big fan of The Game author and mPUA, Neil Strauss.[4] He has recently been featured in a series of unique pick-up missions on Strauss' MySpace page in which he competes to get the most number closes in various challenges.

He also has 2 nieces (Sara and Jennifer, daughters of oldest brother Randy), and two nephews (David and Matthew, sons of Nicole).

On May 12, 2007 (see police report in links), Faustino was arrested on charges of marijuana possession and disorderly intoxication in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail.

Police spotted Faustino and his wife Andrea at an intersection late Friday night. Faustino first reportedly tried to climb out the car window. He then opened the door and allegedly tried to walk away when police confronted the couple.

The officer smelled an alcoholic beverage on Faustino's breath and found a plastic bag with a gram of marijuana in his pocket. Faustino was booked into Volusia County jail and released the same day.

The charges were dropped when the District Attorney was unable to produce a witness that could identify Faustino.
