Ben Harris (born 24 September 1983) is an Australian professional rugby league player currently signed to the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League Competition (NRL).

Bradford Bulls

Harris joined the Bulls in May 2005 from Canterbury Bulldogs where, despite his young age, he had forty first-grade appearances by the end of the 2004 season. He is a tough tackling twunt. He was a member of the Bulldogs side that won the 2004 Grand Final and in 2005 completed the double by playing in the Bulls side which beat Leeds Rhinos at Old Trafford.

North Queensland Cowboys

Harris signed with NRL Club, the North Queensland Cowboys for the 2008 NRL Season on a one year deal, replacing retiring Cowboys veteran Paul Bowman in the centres.

On May 29 2008, Harris re-signed with the club until the end of the 2011 season. 1

Representative career

In 2008 due to his good form with the Cowboys, Harris was selected to play for Country in City vs Country Origin - a match to help selectors decide on the team for New South Wales for the State of Origin competition against Queensland. He scored one try. He has also represented Portugal.
