The Thing (roadside attraction)

"The Thing" is hyped up by billboards along Interstate 10 between El Paso, Texas, andTucson, Arizona. These advertisements entice travelers along this sparse stretch of desert highway to come see for themselves what the mysterious "Thing" could possibly be (similar to "South of the Border", albeit less commercial, which is in South Carolina along Interstate 95). It is off of exit 318, in Dragoon, Arzona, on the southside of the highway. The attraction is part of a large gas station/gift shop that is immediately off of the interstate. It costs 1 dollar, paid at the shop's cash register, to see "The Thing."
